Fair questions

Does the 14-day trial require a credit card?
Yes. The card is collected at checkout but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing.
What counts as one facility?
One physical location — one street address — with any number of tanks. A station with four tanks is one facility. If you run three stations, that is three facilities, and you can see all of them on one dashboard.
Does this cover my state's requirements?
At launch, USTPilot tracks the federal 40 CFR Part 280 baseline only. Most states add requirements on top of it, and some run their own approved programs — state rule packs are in development. If your state requires more than the federal baseline, you remain responsible for tracking the difference.
Can I cancel any time? What happens to my records?
Cancel any time from the billing portal — no calls, no retention flow. Your records stay readable, and you can export the full PDF binder for any period before you go. Completed inspection records are never edited or deleted by anyone, including us.

Scope note: USTPilot tracks federal obligations under 40 CFR Part 280. State-specific requirements are not covered at launch. Release reporting, permanent closure, and financial responsibility obligations are out of scope. This is a record-keeping tool — not legal advice.
